Become a Tooled Up Research Partner
Tooled Up Education works in partnership with some of the world’s most eminent researchers to keep parents, school communities and other frontline professionals up-to-date with the latest research evidence relating to children and young people.
Tooled Up is a digital library of evidence-based resources on all aspects of family life, parenting and education. It was founded in 2018 by Dr Kathy Weston, a social scientist, who completed her Masters and Doctorate at the University of Cambridge. She is the co-author of two books on ‘Engaging Parents’ (Bloomsbury, 2018; 2020) and one of the leading experts on parental engagement in the UK today.
Resources are curated by Dr Kathy Weston and her team of researchers. They are designed to be easily applied by busy parents, carers, educators or practitioners who are working with children and young people every day.
